Help Create the Anti-Patterns Canvas
Let Us Turn the Scrum Anti-Patterns Guide Book into Structured Practice
Hello everyone!
Join me in developing the Anti-Patterns Canvas, a dynamic and free tool that extends the insights of the “Scrum Anti-Patterns Guide” book. Share your expertise through the survey, see below, and test-drive tools, practices, and exercises through a series of upcoming Hands-on meetups. In other words, help me create a resource that enhances agile practice and value creation.

How You Can Contribute
I am excited to announce the development of a new practice aimed at improving how we address and resolve agile challenges: the “Anti-Patterns Canvas.” This canvas is not just a tool; it’s an extension of the widely acclaimed “Scrum Anti-Patterns Guide” book. It will be designed to be a practical guide that helps agile practitioners visualize, discuss, and overcome the hurdles that prevent teams from achieving their full potential, thus enhancing their ability to create significant value for customers and their organizations.
To ensure this tool truly reflects our community’s diverse experiences and needs, I need your insights and expertise. Here’s how you can get involved:
Contribute Your Ideas: Through an anonymous survey, share the tools, exercises, and practices that have proven effective for you in managing and resolving anti-patterns. Whether you’re a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager, or Agile Coach, your experiences are invaluable to me. As a token of my appreciation, five lucky participants will receive a free copy of the Scrum Anti-Patterns Guide book. 👉 Join the Anti-Patterns Canvas survey here.
Join the Hands-on Agile Meetups: Starting with our first session on July 3, 2024, I will host a series of meetups to test and refine the proposed tools and practices. This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with the development of the Anti-Patterns Canvas and influence its final design. Participants will not only contribute to a pioneering agile tool but also have the chance to be among the first to learn how to apply it in a real-world setting. Five attendees from these sessions will be invited to join our pilot teaching program for the Anti-Patterns Canvas. 👉 Join the first meetup session on July 3, 2024.
Anti-Patterns Canvas — Conclusion
Your active participation will be a cornerstone of the Anti-Patterns Canvas, enabling me to create a tool that is both effective and reflective of real-world agile environments. Building on the foundation set by the “Scrum Anti-Patterns Guide,” this canvas will serve as a systematic tool to enhance the application of fundamental Agile principles, directly contributing to more effective practices and more significant value creation in your organizations.
Thank you for helping me make a difference in the Agile community. I look forward to your contribution and to seeing you at the first Hands-on Agile meetup session on July 3, 2024.
